Alicia UNDERWOOD

Alicia Underwood was born in Dallas, TX, to entrepreneur parents. At a young age, she was entertaining her family and friends with one-act plays, and could always be found holding a camera. After spending two summers taking workshops and acting camps with Dallas' top casting directors, Alicia was discovered and signed by a prominent Texas agency. She booked her first national commercial within months, followed by her first role in a feature film, currently out on Amazon Prime. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full time, was nominated three times for her work, and won a Best Actress Award for "Ghost Note". She is on IMDb's list of "Rising Stars: Who to Watch."

WHY:

I chose to be part of this wonderful film because I wanted to be involved with something that has the potential to make a big impact, as well as bring awareness and representation to a community that deserves recognition. Also, I, love comedy, and the writing was so great!

TOM.jpg
Tom KATSIS

Tom caught the acting bug when he was in the Christmas play in 4th grade in Sioux City,

Iowa. Acting suited him from that point on. Drama classes in HS and performing in

college plays were fun as well. After college and while teaching in Iowa, directing plays

and speech forensics, he enjoyed performing in Siouxland plays, filming commercials

and forming an improv troupe. Fast Forward to Hollywood in 1994. He’s a proud member

of SAG/AFTRA and has been an Abraham Lincoln Presenter for 20 years. He has a rich and varied career in television, film and commercials. He has been featured in the multi-award-winning TIN CAN, the recently released HEAVENLY DEPOSIT with John Savage and Barry Van Dyke, plus the upcoming ENTER THE DIAMOND.

WHY:

I was immediately captivated by the film's narrative, and underlying message. Understandingly, I was thrilled when I got the call back to play Grumpy”, a character who is positively transformed through this experience.

WHY:

I joined the cast of "You Wish" because I saw it as a wonderful opportunity to work with incredibly talented professionals to bring to life a fun and unique story which, since this world pandemic, has become even more relevant.

Eric Soto 2020.jpg
Eric SOTO

Eric studied acting at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, and was a stage performer in New England for a number of years. He then moved to Los Angeles where he studied and performed improv comedy for eight years with the group, "The Waterbrains."  Of all his training, Eric credits improv for helping him find his center as a performer. Eric is also active behind the scenes, as a writer, director, cameraperson and video editor.

WHY:

I wanted to play a character who has always been in control of his life, both professionally and personally, as John, the character I play in the film, is. Yet, in the extraordinary circumstances he finds himself in, he decides to let go of that control. As an actor, exploring that act of surrender was very appealing to me.
